Raspberry Pi 7″ Touchscreen Setup and Demo

Take a look at the new 7″ touchscreen produced by the Raspberry Pi foundation, which was launched on September 8, 2015. We go through what’s in the box, what it takes to get up and running, and do a short demo of the screen.

The screen is available from MCM Electronics at http://www.mcmelectronics.com/product/83-16872 – MCM Part #83-16872

  1. Any idea for a casing system to keep the Pi safe? I dont think the official cases will work after you mount the display, will they?

  2. the ground pin is not pin 3, but instead it's 6 or 5. I think its pin 6. It is the third pin over from the 5 volt pin.
